There are a lot of things that I like about this movie but as a final product I’m not sure if it was my personal favorite. I was having a discussion after the movie and the way I watched it vs some others and weather or not it is better to view in an unconscious and fluid state and observing and absorbing or if it is better to put everything together in a literal and logical way. I’ve decided right now that both could be effective in there own way in conversation with the physical content and medium of the movie and how watching it like she watched the movie could differ based on the way you choose to view the film… now I’m writing a paradox? I think idk… but anyway… my take away/ interpretation (in the most general way) is that it is possible to find satisfaction in a world where you don’t believe that you can in a physical or metaphorical way (here I am with the contradiction again- or are these ideas just together but separate and not overlapping?) There is a lot more I could go into about this movie and I may increase my rating to a full 3/5 later I’m not sure yet but that’s where I’m leaving this review bc idk if anyone would even understand what I just wrote. Also shout out to the woman next to me who I don’t think understands that concept of a “campy” movie based on her reactions to well everything.
