Terms of
Service.
These terms are the agreement between you and Flique Studio for using the Flique app and website. Please read them — using Flique means you accept them.
Welcome to Flique. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Flique Studio (“Flique,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Flique mobile app, our website at flique.studio, and related services (together, the “Service”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Who can use Flique
You must be at least 13 years old to use Flique, or older where your country requires it (for example, 16 in parts of the European Union). By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account, so keep your login secure and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Your account
You sign in with a phone number or email and a one-time code. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that create risk or legal exposure for us, or that have been inactive for an extended period. You can delete your account at any time from Data & Privacy in the app's settings.
Your content
Flique lets you create content — logs, ratings, reviews and notes, playlists and collections, comments, discussions, movie nights, and recommendations (“User Content”). You keep ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant Flique a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it solely to operate and improve the Service and to show it to the people you share it with, consistent with your privacy settings.
You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to post it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
Flique has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post, share, or transmit any content, and not to engage in any conduct, that:
- is unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory;
- is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable;
- sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors in any way;
- incites violence, self-harm, or illegal activity, or promotes terrorism or hate groups;
- infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- is spam, a scam, malware, or an attempt to deceive, impersonate, or defraud others;
- deliberately posts unmarked spoilers to harass or degrade the experience of others.
We may remove content and suspend or permanently ban users who violate this policy, with or without notice. We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users, and we may remove flagged content and remove the offending user as quickly as we reasonably can.
Reporting, blocking, and moderation
Flique provides tools to keep the community safe. You can report any user or piece of content, and you can block or mute any user so you no longer see their activity or hear from them. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, warning users, or terminating accounts. If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Terms, please report it in the app or contact us at support@flique.studio.
Acceptable use
You also agree not to:
- reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, or circumvent rate limits or security measures;
- use the Service to build a competing product or to resell access;
- misuse other users' personal information obtained through the Service.
Third-party content
Flique displays information about films and shows — titles, artwork, metadata, and similar — sourced from third parties. That content belongs to its respective owners, and its appearance in Flique does not imply any endorsement. Links and references to third-party services are provided for convenience and are governed by those services' own terms.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by Flique Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service except as these Terms allow.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that recommendations will suit your taste. You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flique Studio and its founders, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We are actively building Flique, so features may change, launch, or be discontinued. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses you've granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.
