The Lobster

2015 · 1h 59m · R

Comedy, Drama

An unconventional love story...

In a dystopian near future, single people are taken to a hotel where they must find a romantic partner within 45 days — or be transformed into an animal and released into the woods. One man navigates this bizarre, high-stakes system while facing an impossible choice about love and survival.

— Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos · 2015 · Ireland

The vibeAbsurdist and bleakly funny, with an undertone of creeping dread that makes you uncomfortable in ways you didn't expect.
