A truly fantastic 2nd part of the two films, which will leave you a profound realization of what an origin story can be. He is not the real joker, but a muse to the one we know and love.

I wasn't that big of a fan of the first one. It was too much of a hype for me. This one feels the same to me, the hype (of it being the worst) was not true at all. It doesn't mean it's the best movie of all time, but this one goes further on how Arthur perceives his reality and how he deals with it. I do think if they didn't have gotten Lady Gaga in the female lead, the musical aspects would have never been this much used. But come on, Joker likes his flair of the dramatic. As for the ending, he was a prisoner of Arkham. What did you expect? Sometimes you need to see a movie, where at the end you say: "What the hell did I just watch?"
